When you have a little one, sometimes the only thing to do is go to the botanical gardens and meditate on the lotuses.

Prom

My niece Jayde went to Prom for the first time this year. I am so happy to see her growing up into a young lady.

Sheree and Chancey: engaged!

Sheree and Chancey met up with me for a quick engagement session. We only had a half hour before the sun went down! It’s a good thing that these two have a spirit of adventure.

Jayde

My niece Jayde came to stay with us for SXSW, and we had a mini-portrait session while she was here. It was fun to photograph another photographer.

Powers Fellowship

I had the honor recently to make portraits of the 2012 recipients of the William Powers Fellowship at the University of Texas. Such an interesting group of extremely talented people.

My friend Erica needed a headshot for her upcoming book about Texas. It is always a pleasure to photograph friends, especially when they’re so photogenic!
